IAMP/FEAM International Workshop

 “Integrated Education in One Health” 
(public health, animal health and environmental health)

The Workshop
The workshop will gather experts to discuss state-of-the-art knowledge on integrated education in “One Health” in and beyond Europe, to share experiences and best practices, and to make recommendations for future activities on integrated education in “One Health” within the framework of activities conducted by the interacademy community, UN organizations, and bilateral/multilateral cooperation also in view of Horizon 2020.    The workshop will allow for addressing different levels of education from primary school to university and from research activities to public awareness. 
The Programme 
The workshop will take place from 9:30 to 17:30 at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and will include the following technical sessions including brief presentations by key-note panellists and open floor discussion: 
  • Why an integrated education in One Health?
  • Primary and Secondary  School Education
  • Tertiary   and Continuing Education  /  Research 
  • Communication and Public Awareness 
A concluding session will allow for identifying recommendations and for defining a concept note for future activities, also to be submitted to the interacademy community and to relevant donors.
